My favourite makeup remover

I've been using the Bioderma Crealine H20 Cleanser all the time since April and I really love it.  It feels and looks just like water, but it's so effective.  It removes all my makeup including waterproof mascaras quite easily.  Before this, I used to use numerous samples that I got of the popular Lancome Bi-facil eye makeup cleansing lotion and when all that ran out, I was contemplating buying the full size as I thought it was quite effective albeit a bit oily.  The other issue I had with the Lancome one was that I went through them fairly quickly and for AU$58 that was a LOT of mula to spend for only 125 ml / 4.23 fl.oz!  I did do a bit of research and found a dupe for this - the Loreal Gentle Make-Up Remover for Eyes & Lips, and for the same volume, from memory, it only cost about AU$12 and is available in most pharmacies and supermarkets.  Personally, I preferred the Loreal to the Lancome one as it didn't seem as oily to me and is suitable for sensitive eyes, but both performed in the same way and they look fairly similar in that they have the two layers of blue liquid which you need to shake and mix before use.  (Apologies as I have only taken a photo of it with a virtually empty bottle and can't show it to you very well - you'll just have to take my word for it!  You can sort of still see it with the tiny amount left if you look closely - hehe...)  Unfortunately, I do not have the ingredients for the Lancome Bi-facil to compare with Loreal's, but since Lancome is owned by Loreal, it wouldn't surprise me if they did.
L - R: Loreal eyes & lips makeup remover (FULL size), Lancome Bi-facil (SAMPLE size).
So, I highly recommend Loreal Gentle Make-Up Remover if you are looking for a much cheaper alternative that's easily accessible in terms of an eye makeup remover that is good for sensitive eyes.

For an overall makeup cleanser, that's really effective yet extremely gentle and a little goes a long way, I definitely recommend Bioderma, and it's inexpensive, too!  You can see in the photo I've only used a little bit of it and I've been using it everyday since April!  My skin feels clean, refreshed and supple - does not strip moisture from my skin (it uses a soap-free formula).  There's no redness after I cleanse my face with this.  So, it's perfect for all skin types including sensitive skin.  It's amazing.

The downside to Bioderma is that it is not easily accessible unless you live in France, otherwise you'll have to buy it online (though still also tricky to find online too!).  I've been to France 3 times and I can't believe I didn't know about this until recently (thanks to Lisa Eldridge), so next time I will definitely be keeping my eyes open in all the many pharmacies they've got (literally, they have pharmacies in just about every corner!) for really good skin care products such as this.

I bought 2 bottles of this and I'm sure they will last me a while (at least a couple of years me thinks!).  I will definitely repurchase - although who knows what new products come out in two years that will match it or better it.

Size: 500 ml / 16.9 fl.oz.
Cost: Approx. AU$21
I purchased this at www.zuneta.com
