Recently I've been wanting to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to fashion so I thought a good way to do so would be to try wearing a skort. They are one of the biggest trends at the moment and all my favourite fashion bloggers have been wearing them. I never have this much leg out so it was a bit weird at first but with a skort you don't need to worry about the wind blowing it up so I got used to it eventually. I really love this CityRack one as it has a waffle texture so it isn't made out of a flimsy material and the pattern is really nice for Summer as well as being easy to style. As it is patterned I paired it with a plain grey H&M top and threw on my New Look Denim Jacket as it did start to get a bit chilly. Of course I wore my usual ASOS bag as well, it goes with everything! I've never been a big sandal girl, like a lot of people I don't really like my feet, but I do really like these Ipanema ones that I've finished off the outfit with. They are a neutral pink/bronze colour with a really simple but pretty pattern on them. They rubbed a little at first but that is expected with these kinds of shoes but I broke them in really quickly so now they are super comfy! The bottom of them is quite sturdy as well so I know these will last for quite a while.
I really didn't think I'd like skorts but I love this overall outfit, I think I'll definitely have to look at getting another one!
