Having radiant and luminous skin is currently in. Strobing has been a makeup craze for months now. Although I don't follow that makeup trend (I have oily skin so I get pretty shiny easily... so I just avoid anything that makes me look even shinier), I still like to add some luminosity some time. Especially when my sister gave me this particular product...
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Mood Light
So yeah, I got this as a present from my sister so I dunno how much and where she bought it. :)
And I think this is my first Hourglass makeup. Hihihi!
Anyway, I'm just gonna post swatch photos.
I really like the package design. I love the color, the shape, and even the minimalist design of the brand's logo. I also like that it's a compact with mirror. It is a bit bulky though, but I don't bring it with me all the time so no worries.
Here's how the product looks.
It's a very pale pink that it's like halfway from being a highlighter and a blush on my skin. Check out the swatch below...
See! It's pretty light (you know, like a highlighter), but you can see the "pinkness" of it. It's not pink enough to make my skin look flushed or at least to be considered a blush.
I apply it on the top of my cheeks and the top of my cheekbones. On the photo above, I haven't added my blush and that's how it looks.
I add a marshmallow colored blush, pretty close to the product's shade and it creates a beautiful pale pink glow on my cheeks. I'm definitely loving this finish!
