Disney's Ariel "Treasure Within" Beauty Book

It's that time trenders to write the last review and do this show and tell for you all on the Walgreens Pharmacy exclusive Disney's "Ariel" beauty collection.  I made sure to save the best for last.  "Treasure Within" beauty book retails for $9.99 and I feel that it's a great price for all that included.  Nine eyeshadow, two bronzers, on lip color, one eyeshadow brush and one bronzer brush.  When the book is completely opened the left side revel's a "how to" look book with instructions on how to achieve the "On the Beach" and "Sunset Cruise" look.

"North Star" "For Shore" and "Siren Song"

"Seaweed" "Seashell" and "Brilliant Sea"

When it comes down to the eyeshadows, these are the standard e.l.f. quality eyeshadows.  A primer is needed and there is plenty of fallout, so be sure to have your dusting wand handy.  Theses are not the best quality when it comes to eyeshadow, but they are decent.  All the colors have a shimmer and or satin finish to them but one.  "Seashell" the lavender shade is the one and only matte color in the collection.  Also be careful, because what you see is not alway what you get.  "North Star" appears to be a shade of grey, but is actually a beautiful blue (the picture is truly not doing it justice).   "Tropical Wave" is a beautiful sea greenish blue with gold shimmer iridescent.  I truly enjoyed the colors in this palette.  I feel like all these colors are in the same range.  I would have liked to have seen some dark shades to make a truly complete eye look.

"Conch Shell" and "Tan Lines"

The two bronzers "Conch Shell" and "Tan Lines" have a satin/velvety feel to them.  When swatched, they both have a satin/shimmer look to them.  "Conch Shell" is a deep brown and can be used to contour with.  When sheered out this will give the allusion of a deep sun tan, one that says you lived at the beach all summer.  As far as "Tan Lines" this has more of a gold undertone and gold satin finish to it.  I feel this has almost a brightening effect to it.  This too can be used as a contour and or bronzer.  Out of the two, "Tan Lines" is my favorite.

Swatch of "Go on and Kiss The Girl"

Oh this "Go on and Kiss the Girl" lips gloss!  This was the smalls and bigger disappointment in this book.  Do not go on and kiss the girl with this.  When worn this was not at all comfortable on the lips, it feels thick like creamy peanut butter.  This has a sweet but plastic scent and taste like sweet candy.  As far as color goes this is a sheer light pink and is very much heavy and tacky on the lips.  The packaging itself is cheep and when the top is screwed on does not aline.  The pink of the tube is an actual pink container.  The applicator is a doe foot.  The container provides only 1 gram of product.  I'm not even sad about the lack of product received   This is just all bad.  This to me defines garbage.

Now the eyeshadow brush is the e.l.f. essential lines "eyeshadow" brush (that's the actual name of that particular brush).  Alone this brush retails for $1.00 and is a very nice brush.  In the beginning this brush sheds, but when it's done and is house trained.  It makes an excellent eyeshadow brush.  When it comes to the bronzing brush, plain and simple this is junk.  Truly to small to do anything with.  This is just taking up space and can be deposited into the nearest trash receptacle.
