How many times have you tried something, and invested in it, and then it is =((((((( to the max, cos you don't even have the words to describe how horribly disappointed you are with a product?
I think lollipop26 and I are not the only ones...
As long as you stay around long enough (doesn't even need to be long actually, maybe weeks or months) with skincare and makeup, I am sure you would grow more educated, and want to be more educated before you make any purchases.
But because we people tend to become so obsessed about things (it's not a bad thing to want to find out more) like ingredients list, reviews, swatches and whatnot, we get emotional, and make too many impulse buys. Which sometimes is good, sometimes will turn out really stupid.
Here, lollipop26 shares her super regrets in a video titled Don't Believe the Hype. Products include Sigma, M.A.C, Proactiv, and more stunning all-time best brands!
Her stance on those popular products really recharges my confidence to continue saying whatever I want to say, and be brutally honest about products, no matter how expensive, how big the advetisement, how reputable the brand, or what all the makeup/skincare gurus say. =))
Nice watching! You may like to share your regrets here, or at her Youtube site. =) I love reading them. LOL.
PS: My latest regret, as I've posted, is the M.A.C Plush Lash. hahaha. Okay, but it wasn't hyped about anyway. My hopes got high because of reading a megazine article on the magic of big and fat mascara brushes.
Oh, and the Cleansing Express. Yep, that's really not that great. It's just pretty miraculous water, or rather it's just hyped because it's water, and has above average cleansing power. Which makes the water form quite unbelievable. And it's also the first of its kind in our markets. But I don't regret because I've read about it stinging eyes, and I don't expect much, plus it was a trial size.
