Collection Glam Crystal and Eye Liner

Selfish by The Kite String Tangle
I'm no stranger to Collections Glam crystals as they were one of my very first experimentations with eyeliner and my favourite substances of all time - glitter! Alas, it has been a long time since I indulged in the brands' glittery wares and on an impromptu browse I found myself falling for some new "dazzling" treats.
From L to R: Collection Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel liner in Hustle, Collection Glam Crystals Dazzling Gel liner in Cosmic Stars and Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner in White
Alright, and they were on offer so that was more reason for me to stick around the stand but, I did end up having to go out my way to get them so the love is true - ok. Each product cost £2.99 each but, I bought 3 for the price of 2 (yippee!).
Focussing on Hustle and Cosmic Stars
Packaging/Formula: Glam Crystal Eyeliners come in standard tubes that feel plusher than you're average bargain basic eyeliner. The glitter in the product is suspended in a gel base which makes it feel cooling to the eyes once on and it dries quite fast and the glitter doesn't feel gritty/grainy or uncomfortable. Plus, there's no terrible fallout and as long as you remember not to rub your eyes and you've done a smooth application - you need not fear fallout. Although depending on your removal technique - the process may end up making you resemble a disco ball but, that's ok, right? ... The fast stroke eyeliner packaging also feels decent enough and even rattles to mix the product (pretty nifty). The wand is a firm paintbrush tip shade and it applies the product easily. The formula isn't super wet or runny but a pretty perfect consistency and just like the glam liner dries in good time. The only downside may just be, that some strokes are whiter than others which come out a bit grey (inconsistent).
Swatches
how can you not adore the glam?!
16 Cosmic Stars: A cloudy suspension of fine holographic shimmer. Although it looks whitish in the tube, it goes on clear with a slight blue tinge and silvery shimmer glow in indirect lighting. This liner is glam enough to satisfy the glitter lover in me but also subdued enough to not look too out of place for every day.

4 Hustle: A silver suspension base packed with dazzling and slightly chunkier shimmer than Cosmic Stars. This shade really shines and fulfill all my glittery desires - I'm sure Tomatoa would love it (but its mine mate so he can get his shines somewhere else).

Fast Stroke Eyeliner in White: I totally didn't realise that I picked up a white liner. Don't you just hate picking the wrong shade especially when you've spent a long time choosing? I do recall maybe 2 black bottles being on display but they looked tampered with so I went with the bottles next to them that looked new looking and had "Black" written underneath. *EHH-Wrong* I already have white liners and they don't really work for me. White on me is a very stark colour that makes my eyes look more tired than they already are. Shade confusion aside - this is a strong "Tipp-Ex"/"Correction Fluid" at its most effective "whiteness". I'm interested in getting my hands on the black although I'm trying my best to find ways to make white work for me in the meantime.

Trying it On
My brief stint with eye makeup
In the above photos, I used Juvia Place eyeshadows in Jezebel in the Nubian 2 Palette and Zobo in the Masquerade palette. I lightly applied the deeper purple on the inner eye corner and the pinkish purple on the rest of my lid with a fluffy eye brush to create a light blend. I actually think it came out pretty well and although I have small eyes that are a bit close-set I threw out the unwritten rulebook that lighter shades must always be applied in the inner corner. Feeling good about my rebel-shadow game, I experimented further by adding Hustle to my lash line and then a series of white dots for an avant-garde cat liner but, I think the dots ruined it ... Anyway, I hope you can see just how shiny Hustle is in the end pics on the right.

In the middle, I showed Cosmic Stars all on its own because that's how I initially wore it and it gives you a chance to see how it can look not too "out there" for even everyday wear. My sunlit pics don't seem to give the shade justice but, its super nice alright (pouts).

even my camera deiced to not bother taking pics of my weak white liner attempts - pfft, when white coated two-tone eyelashes become a thing remember who done it first ...
Lastly ... my attempt at eyeliner (white eyeliner at that) is above. This was not my first attempt and it won't be my last - I think I may just be getting the hang of it ...

In conclusion: I really like all the products and they're really fun to play around with. Even my sistahs who don't like glitter can be swayed by these pretty little things. I know I  was sad about choosing a white liner instead of black but, I've been playing around with and it's really grown on me. Looks like these are hits.
